I hold a degree in Cultural Studies and am currently pursuing a Master’s in „Arts and Modernity“ at Sofia University. My interests are connected to literature, visual arts, photography, music, and journalism. I write poetry and have been actively practicing photography for a year, using both film and digital cameras. I am drawn to various genres, such as street photography and landscapes. For me, photography is a way to conquer time, even if just for a moment.

Absence makes itself felt through the empty bench. The chapel, like the bench, is dedicated to someone who lost their life. Beyond serving as a way to honor their memory, they also remind us of their absence, creating a simultaneity of presence and absence, of memory and reality. The city, as part of the landscape, fades into the fog. The few visible outlines are fragmented and unclear. The fog, with its physical characteristics, represents a unique kind of presence—one that cannot be fully grasped by those within its boundaries, much like a memory that has long lost its physical dimensions but continues to evoke the sense of what has been lost.
